StratiFi Glossary

Welcome to the StratiFi Glossary! This page explains commonly used terms and concepts in our app, especially for users who are new to decentralized finance (DeFi).

AI Agent

An intelligent module in StratiFi that helps optimize lending and borrowing strategies across different protocols. It can operate fully autonomously or just give suggestions, depending on your chosen control level.

Vault

A smart contract where users deposit tokens to earn yield. The vault automatically manages these assets, often by deploying them into external lending protocols like Aave or Compound.

Autocompounding

The process of automatically reinvesting earnings (yield) back into the vault to maximize returns over time—without needing manual action from the user.

Keeper Bots

Automated bots that monitor market conditions and trigger actions like rebalancing funds between protocols to optimize yield. In StratiFi, these bots run hourly.

Rebalancing

The action of moving funds from one yield source to another (e.g., Compound to Aave) based on which one offers better returns, handled automatically by the system.

APY (Annual Percentage Yield)

A standardized way to measure yield over a year. A higher APY means you’re earning more from your deposit.

TVL (Total Value Locked)

The total amount of assets deposited into a vault or protocol. It reflects trust and scale.

Idle Assets

Tokens sitting in your wallet doing nothing. These can be deposited into StratiFi to earn passive yield instead of staying idle.

Performance Fee

A fee charged only on the yield (profits) generated. StratiFi charges a 5% performance fee, with no deposit or withdrawal fees.

Strategy: Ever Yield

StratiFi's flagship strategy. It rotates between the best-performing money markets like Vesu or Nostra to get you the highest APY—all without complex risk like looping or delta-neutral strategies.

Scout Engine

A user interface powered by the AI agent that finds optimal lending or borrowing positions for you, based on your risk and return preferences.

Data Aggregator

A backend service that pulls real-time and historical data from multiple protocols to help the AI agent make smart decisions.

ML Models (Machine Learning Models)

Part of the AI Think Tank that analyzes data to forecast interest rates, assess risks, and suggest optimal pools for users.

Composability

The ability of StratiFi’s components (AI, vaults, contracts) to be mixed and matched—or plugged into other protocols.

Protocol

A decentralized platform like Aave, Compound, or Lido that handles lending, borrowing, or staking on-chain.

On-Chain

Any action or data that lives on the blockchain and is publicly verifiable.

Research Mode

A mode in the AI agent where users receive strategy suggestions without letting the agent execute transactions automatically.
